COMING SOON 〰️

Third Date Records.

Other side of the bar? That’ll be Third Date Records â€” a lovingly curated collection of vinyl chosen by people who’ve spent too much time haunting Edinburgh’s record shops.

We’re not just slinging flat whites — we’re flinging out wax with taste, attitude, and a worrying lack of restraint.

This is not a record shop with a bar and coffee machine.
We’re a cultural hub with unhealthy opinions about first pressings.

What We Stock.

We don’t do landfill indie. No “bargain bin but ironic” pish.
Just records we actually listen to, obsess over, and would proudly slap on the counter and say:“Here, stick this on. It'll change your day.”

Expect regular appearances from:

  • German electronic oddities

  • Japanese ambient and city pop

  • Scottish post-punk (we’re biased, deal with it)

  • 80s drama LPs your da probably sold at a car boot in 1996 and still regrets

Monthly Drops.

Person browsing vinyl records at a record sale or shop, with various album covers visible.

Every month we shine a spotlight. A scene. A mood. A moment.
No algorithms. No charts. Just proper crate-digging and weird passions.

Upcoming drops:

February: Goth Disco â€“ murder on the dancefloor, in a good way

March: Berlin Pulse â€“ Krautrock & early techno

How to Buy.

Records are sold in-store only.
Because this is a cult, not Amazon.

You want to buy something? Brilliant. But you’ll have to flick through it, feel the sleeve, hear something in the background that stops you mid-sentence and makes you say,
“What the **** is this? It’s incredible.”

Want us to hold something? Whisper it to your barista or email awright@thirddate.coffee with the subject line:
“Vinyl Cult.”

Come for the food and drink. Leave with a record you didn’t expect.

A vintage vinyl record on a wooden table, alongside a metal mug on a cork coaster, with sunlight casting shadows.

That’s Third Date.
It’s not just a bar+kitchen.
It’s a vibe with a plug socket and a turntable.
